Day 26

Man, I am really slacking! It's like as soon as Thanksgiving was done, I completely forgot all about this! ;)

Yesterday, as I was sitting in bed trying to decide what to write, I found the perfect thing! And then Christian started asking for the kazoo again, and the moment was lost. Here's what I wanted to say yesterday:

I am so grateful for my sister in law Jamie.She and her husband Tim, and their three kids are an absolute joy to be around and SO MUCH FUN! Whenever we are together, they make me laugh, and I am so grateful to have them in my life. Jamie is a great listener and I feel like she has a way about her that makes whoever she is talking to feel like the only person in the room! She is fun, vivacious and just so full of life. I am so grateful for her, and the friendship that we are continually developing together. I love that she loves and appreciates Jared so much. I feel like, out of all of his siblings, Jamie is really the one that "gets" him and it just makes me love her more. She was my saving grace right after I had Christian. She helped me see that if I was crying or overwhelmed - that it didn't make me a bad mom. She took time out of her day to come and watch him so that Jared and I could go out, even for just a couple of hours. I am not sure that even she knows what a big help that was to me at that time.

She and her family are so sweet to Christian too, it is such a blessing to have them around.
