The First Day of School 2017

Just a quick note about the first day of school. Leila started Preschool and Christian is in first grade!

Rockaway Beach - Part 4: More Adventures!

This last post is going to be a doozy. We alternated days to try and make good use of our time, while also balancing our activities for maximum enjoyment ;) We spent time at the beach, we went hiking, we adventured to new locations by train. We made smore's and told scary stories, we flew kites, we tried Voodoo doughnuts and even made time to stop and visit my Aunt on the way home. 

After a long day we stopped and enjoyed ice creams and in impromptu photo shoot on the beach with our messy faces.

JoJo could NOT get enough of that push pop. She was in heaven.

Jocelyn did such a good job on the little hike. She loves being outdoors!

Here is Leila regaling us with SEVERAL "Spooooooky Stories". It was absolutely adorable and I thought my heart might burst with pride at her creativity. 

Here we are on our train ride along the coast! 

Jocelyn LOVED the train! It was honestly hard to keep her in her seat the whole time. She ooooohed and aaaaaaahhed the whole time!

These pictures just do not do the trip justice. We spent an amazing week together and even just looking through the pictures again makes my heart happy. I love my little crew and am so grateful for every second we get to spend together!
