Christmas 2016

What a fun season it has been. I love the age of my kids right now - they have so much excitement this time of year. We have been using our Advent calendar for all sorts of fun activities. Christmas lights and movies, a live nativity, crafts, cookies, and TONS of chances to serve. We go and drive by Christmas lights just about every night. We also have been getting our home in order as we may be selling it sooner than planned! More of that to come. But first, pictures!

 This brings us to Christmas morning! What a perfect morning it was. Santa came and brought Christian the Ice T-Rex he wanted, and Leila got a whole set of Paw Patrol characters.

Happy Birthday JoJo! What a joy this past year has been. I have never met a more excitable and sweet baby. You are the best part of Christian and Leila mixed together to create my little Sunshine!

For JoJo's birthday, we had a small party at my parent's house and then a dinner in Penryn to celebrate. Having her birthday so close to Thanksgiving, does make things tricky! I am so grateful for everyone's willingness to make this a special day.

 For Sunday dinner we went up to Crabby Aby's for a delicious dinner and a decadent chocolate cake crafted by none other than my niece Sydney. It was one of the best chocolate cakes I have had. Not too rich, just PERFECT!

She is getting the hang of this cake stuff now.
