Alright - It's time for...HALLOWEEN NIGHT! I, personally, am completely on board with moving Halloween so that it is always on a Saturday because coming home from work and trying to get ready for trick or treaters and make dinner and all of that madness was pretty stressful! I can't imagine getting your kids ready to take out trick-or-treating on top of that.
Since Christian is so little and I didn't want a bunch of candy around the house, I decided to skip trick or treating this year. Instead, I picked up three homegrown pumpkins, courtesy of Elena, and brought them home as a surprise for Jared. Apparently, he loves carving pumpkins...something I didn't know about him! We carved pumpkins, ate homemade tomatillo enchiladas and passed out candy to our cute trick or treaters. It was the first year that I have lived in a house since I moved out of my parents' house, and we got TONS of trick or treaters...SO FUN!

| Christian pretty much liked the newspaper A LOT more than carving pumpkins. |

I absolutely LOVE these pictures! Don't worry - I didn't give all the melted, slobbery ones to any trick or treaters ;)

All in all, we had an absolutely WONDERFUL Halloween. I have noticed that holidays are a lot more fun when you have kids, and now I can't wait for Thanksgiving and Christmas. It's hard to believe that they are just around the corner.
That is so stinkin cute. What a fun halloween!
