She lives in Sacramento, but she was coming out that weekend because my sister in law Jazmine was having Adalena blessed. Luckily Jamie came out with her kids as well, so it was an official Joyner party. Unfortunately Jon and Morgan and their family were not able to come out, and their family was greatly missed, especially when it came to the dance party! We had a great time planning the activities and we were even able to have some "Hawaiian" dancers come out to help us celebrate! Carmen even got a fresh flower lei, compliments of me and my lei making lessons in Hawaii!
They did dances from many of the islands in, what the MC called "Polynesia" including New Zealand, Hawaii, Samoa and Tahiti!. It was such a blast to have dancers in our backyard and since the fences are low, even our neighbors got to watch!

These little girls were absolutely PRICELESS. All three of them did several dances and I was surprised by their elegance and beautiful hand movements. I got to speak with them afterward and they were as cute in person as they were dancing for an audience!

This is my nephew STUFFING his face. Jared and I were trying to get a picture of him the whole night but he kept ducking to evade us. Luckily, this was his best shot anyway!

Sounds like fun, where are the pics of you out there dancing too?
