Christian's First Month

Okay, I know I have been a little absent from the blogging world, but give me a break! :) Being a mom is a LOT of work and I find myself without any free time to sit down and show you all of the cool/wonderful/fun things that we do with Christian. This is going to have to be a short post because I can hear him waking up as I write this, but I wanted to write down some of the things that have happened in his first month of life!

This is us getting him ready for church. Jared decided that he looked like Elvis, so we tried to capture it!
Getting ready to go to church for the first time. Yes, that is sweater vest...AMAZING!
Some of his funny faces. His hands move SO FAST, that's why they tend to be blurry in most of the shots.
He's learning how to use his fingers and investigating with them.
His first trip to Subway. He totally stole my sandwich!
His first bath! Don't worry, you won't see any family jewels ;) It took FOREVER for his umbilical cord to fall off...almost 3 1/2 weeks. YUCK. He loves being in the water. This is him just chillin' as Dad washes his hair.
Look how relaxed he is! Now he even hangs his hands and feet outside of the sling and into the water.
All clean! Great job Dad :)
And this I just had to include. This is my Dad holding his "boy". He always calls me and asks "How's my boy doing?" I LOVE IT! They are going to be best buds, I just know it.

All in all, life is good. I am not looking forward to going back to work, but I am excited for the time that I get to spend with my little man as he gets bigger and learns new things. He is an absolute joy to have around :)

  3. Oh he is just toooooo cute with all that hair! I don't know if anyone has told you this yet, but his HANDS ARE HUGE! Seriously, I think his fingers are twice as long as my nephew's were when he was born. He is definitely going to be a tall kid like his dad! I can't believe you are already coming back to work, but you sure timed that well, what with Monday being the last day of tax season and all :) I REALLY hope that you come to UT soon so that I can hold that baby boy!
