I don't know if this is good news or bad news...I guess it could be seen either way. My doctor wants me to stop working Friday!
That's a good thing because I am sooooooooooo swollen I can't even bend my fingers.
It's a bad thing because...what in the world am I going to do with myself for four weeks before this baby comes?
Any ideas on how to spend my days?

I have the two new Pink Carnation books you can read. And we can go baby shopping if you need anything. And we can watch movies. You can sleep. You can eat. Um, that is all I have right now.
ReplyDeleteRelax. Read some parenting books and get everything ready for when the baby comes. Sleep as much as possible and go out with friends since it might be a while before you can do that after the baby is born. Enjoy just doing nothing because once the baby comes you will wish you had more time to your self! You can always call and talk to me if you get too bored.
ReplyDeleteWalk around and drink lots of water. Read all the books you can now... watch all the shows you want... go shopping... take baths and LONG showers... whatever you want!! OH and try to RELAX!! Get a pedicure so your toes are OH SO CUTE for giving birth and visit your parents and siblings. When baby comes you will be too tired to do most of the above...
ReplyDeleteOh wow, that sounds good! I think you'll enjoy and need the time off. Sleep, read, and relax. Nest and finish the last minute prep for baby. He will be here before you know it!
ReplyDeleteI agree with all the above comments. What I did for the month before Evan was born...read books until my family felt neglected, got all that baby stuff ready to go, organized and cleaned the house, took long showers, sleep....lots of sleep. Trust me, you will not have time or energy for this soon. You will be way to mesmerized by that sweet baby you will want to do nothing but look at him. And he will want your full attention.
