Well, from the poll you guys can see that it was 2:1 that we would be having a boy, and you were right!
Jared and I went in for the ultrasound Monday and were happy to find out that we are having a precious little boy :) I am not gonna lie, I was hoping for a girl, just for the simple fact that I love bows and frilly dresses, but a boy is going to be awesome too. I guess my niece Elaine will just have to wear all the cute dresses and bows I want to buy! Jared took me out shopping after the appointment and we got a couple of cute little outfits to celebrate the coming of our SON!
I wish I could post some pictures of the ultrasound but our ultrasound tech SUCKED! We honestly didn't get one good shot. You would think she would have done a full body shot, but she didn't. We got an arm here, a leg, a foot, but no BABY. We actually go back in a couple of weeks for another ultrasound and echocardiogram, so I think that I will request a good ultrasound picture!
The baby is healthy, and I am extremely grateful for that! I will keep you guys updated :)

Yayayayaya!! I'm obviously so thrilled for you! I guessed girl and was wrong but boys are so tender and precious. You will be the most amazing mom and your sweet boy is so lucky to have you guys as parents.
ReplyDeleteSo exciting! I'm so happy for you guys :) A baby boy is awesome! And there are so many cute little guy things you can buy. Converse, little suits, plaid shirts, little ties. I love it!
ReplyDeleteBeing the expert that I am on children...heehee...having a daughter hitting the "tween" years and 3 boys under the age of 5, I know you will love having a little boy.
ReplyDeleteThey are so honest and loving.
All you need is some cars/trucks and balls then you are good to go. I have learned some awesome things about construction vehicles and dinosaurs lately from reading to my boys. Like the difference between a backhoe and a digger...that the thing on the top of a crane is called a "boom" and that there are tons of really cool dinosaurs and lots of interesting facts to learn. Yesterday, Logan and Owen sat at our back window for over a half and hour watching some guys cutting down a tree because there was a boom and shredder involved....
Sure the clothes aren't as frilly or cute, but at least your home won't be overrun with Barbie and ALL her accessories!
haha! Tiffany only says that because she passed all the Barbies onto my little girl!
ReplyDeleteHaving one of each... I have to tell you... boys are SOOOO Much easier. GIRLS ARE DRAMA... you love them the same for sure, and girls with bows are SO cute, but boys with fo-hawks and suits on are SO FREAKIN CUTE!!
You will LOVE your little man... NAMES??
