Lake Tahoe

Okay, so my little sister was supposed to get married a few weekends ago. The wedding didn't happen, but since my whole family (extended family included) had already planned to be there for the wedding, we decided to do a quasi-family reunion any way. My parents rented a cabin in Lake Tahoe and we got to spend the weekend both in Lake Tahoe, and also in Sacramento with Jared's family. It rained the whole time, but we still managed to have a blast!

and yes, I know how gangsta I look in this hat! Jared, one of the original Blue's Brothers...or so he tells me! The yucky rain on our way down from Tahoe to Sacramento to see Jared's family. We all went out to some kind of Chinese buffet and as I am looking through my pictures I realize that I suck and I didn't get a picture of the entire family! So I guess I will just have to post the ones I have...

While we were in Sacramento I was finally able to stop by and see my best girlfriend Elena. It was so fun to catch up with her and spend more time with her little girl. I don't know if you can tell from the picture, but Mya, her daughter, is gripping both of the sides of our heads and pushing them together. Her dad's a marine so I have a feeling she inherited Daddy's strength!

All in all, it was a good trip and it was great to see everyone! Although I have to say, the next time I come home it better not be raining!!
